该剧以“一事不再理原则”（一旦处理过的案件不再审理的法律一般原则）为背景。讲述5年前被派为国选律师崔度贤（李俊昊饰）负责的一起女性被杀案中，该案嫌疑犯韩钟久被起诉杀人，但最终被判无罪。之后韩钟久因为其他杀人案再次被起诉，在裁判过程中他自白自己是5年前的杀人案的真凶，但因为“一事不再理原则”而无法接受处罚。将讲述即使犯人自白了，却无法惩罚的法律的讽刺故事。。一场罕见的飓风席卷全球，随之而来的是惊天大海啸和特大冰雹灾害：艾菲尔铁塔摇摇欲坠，埃及大金字塔土崩瓦解，纽约自然博物馆被浓雾吞噬，美国白宫瞬间崩塌、死伤无数，整个地球瞬间变为人间炼狱。科学家罗斯教授组织发起了一支风暴敢死队，希望找出气候变化的根本原因。而此时恐怖分子的趁机偷袭，让整个局面更加混乱不堪……。Lynn (22) lives with her brother in Berlin.
