Set in the bustlinc mountains, where animals and magica creatures live together in harmony, the series features the duo, who take the town by storm with their endless adventures and zest for life.。爾仔（吳肇軒飾演）女友茹可以（盧惠敏飾演）在法國工作假期計劃期間突然失蹤，爾仔守住可以留下的書店希望等對方歸來。及後書店生意每況愈下，爾仔為維持書店，於是接受好友拖羅（繆浩昌飾演）的意見，在書店開設「身後事務所」以增加收入，專責代處理逝者遺物，卻因此遇上亡魂，為死者解開心結。。
