And what was it like to be in the audience of one of his plays, where fruit was throw...。一次偶然中，工人黄阿满（毛永明饰）目击了一场犯罪活动的发生，受到了惊吓的他愣在原地，并没有第一时间出来追捕犯罪分子，导致了犯罪分子的脱逃，这让阿满感到了很深的负罪感，没有逮到罪犯，阿满将被罪犯伤害的作家钟学坚送往了医院。回家后，阿满将这件事情说给了妻子徐耘珍（高英饰）听，哪知道妻子非但没有夸奖丈夫的助人为乐，还让他少管闲事，不要惹祸上身。 在公安人员章一兵的鼓励之下，阿满决定参加治安联防队。17岁的少女杜鹃（张玲饰）是街头流莺，且和黑帮头头有着密切的交往。得知这一切的阿满决定将这个女孩从失足犯罪的边缘拯救回来。。
