2006年中国大连导盲犬基地正式成立，06-07年中国训练出第一批导盲犬，珍妮就是第一批导盲犬毕业班的其中的成员。导盲犬的服役时间约8年左右，2014年这些第一批的导盲犬将面临退役，然而，这8年中间他们与自己盲人爸爸妈妈产生了深厚的感情，从盲人角度来说，他们陷入了矛盾，陪伴着自己8年的“孩子”面临退役，新的导盲犬即将到来，他们如何安置退役的导盲犬，这些盲人难以抉择。。After his father's death, a young man (Gregor Bakovic) uses the black mourning flag and sews himself a pair of trousers.
