驱魔大师林九的徒弟刘一泽，在向心上人丁香提亲之时，发现丁家被狐妖所控制，一阵斗法后，误以为狐妖已被师傅封印，在黄妖小曦的提醒下，发现狐妖附身在了林天师身上，在激烈的打斗中，林天师为了保护众人，用桃木剑刺进自己的心脏，与狐妖同归于尽，临死前传位于刘一泽，刘一泽因此成为了新一任驱魔天师，替师傅去完成未完成的使命。。本片是发生在1930年代的好莱坞，有一个军方的秘密武器意外落在一位竞技表演飞行员Cliff Secord手中，他对此一推进器颇感惊奇， 最后他背上了这付怪东西、戴上面具，成了行侠仗义的『火箭人』，然而各方人马都想夺得这项秘密武器，尤其有一位好莱坞影坛的知名男演员 Neville Sinclair ，他其实是纳粹潜伏在好莱坞的情报份子，为了夺得火箭，他还挟持了Cliff的女友Jenny Blake，火箭人Cliff于是展开他的救援行动。。Love and desire fill the minds of villagers in a Hungarian speaking village in Transylvania, Romania, even in their old age.
