1932年，日本侵略者攻击上海闸北，十九路军伤亡惨重。杜凌云、张大器等军官为了继续抵抗侵略，他们组织成立“手枪队”，誓与日寇战斗到底。手枪队在上海刺杀日军特务，惩处汉奸走狗，给侵略者予以沉重打击，也引起敌人的疯狂报复。共产党员王振宇是杜凌云和张大器的好友，应邀加入到手枪队中，成为手枪队的领导人之一。在王振宇的引导下，杜凌云、张大器和手枪队队员们逐渐认识到共产党是抵抗侵略的最坚强力量，虽然中间经过许多误解和冲突，但他们最终坚定地接受了共产党的领导，成为共产党组织在上海的一支重要行动力量，为抵抗侵略做出了重要贡献。。When odd couple Jan and Kris are forced to work together to produce a podcast, they learn they are both undergoing “The Change” – aka menopause – and embark on a journey of transformation, helping each other through workplace challenges and office politics, dating and relationship drama, and some serious health concerns.
