对于法国人来说，美食不仅仅是生活的一部分，而已经进化为生活本身。里克·斯坦游历法国各地，品味特色美食和饮食文化。。专门制作娱乐搞笑节目的电视台导播三村修治（内村光良 饰），当人生步入中年，他似乎也处于最为幸福的阶段。在电视台事业有成，在家则有美丽温柔的太太彩子（木村多江 饰）和乖巧伶俐的儿子（伊泽柾树 饰）。谁知就在此时，他被诊断只剩下半年左右的生命。为了守护妻儿的笑容，修治可谓殚精竭虑，因此他也想出了一个耸人听闻的计划，那就是为彩子寻找再婚对象！从彩子初恋男友冲（吉田荣作 饰）到修治的好友立木（筧利夫 饰），不同风格的男性交替被介绍到彩子的面前。这个笨拙愚直的男人，为了妻子做着最后的努力…… 本片根据樋口卓治的原作改编。。They’re back!
