故事从在九州乡下长大的浅葱空豆（广濑铃饰）与梦想成为音乐家的青年海野音（永濑廉饰）的命运般的相遇开始。原本以为一辈子都不会再见面的两人却在东京一处开始了合租生活，他们早已坠入爱河，却没有开始恋爱，仿佛处在白天和黑夜之间的暧昧而耀眼的“黄昏时分”。。朝屋彼方是一名热衷于制作 MV 的高中男生，有一天，他在街头现场表演中听到一首歌，便产生了为这首歌制作 MV 的强烈动机。然而，这首歌的演唱者却是放弃音乐事业的女教师织重夕……。Andrew Dominik’s career has been crossing paths with Nick Cave’s since 2000’s Chopper, which was scored by original Bad Seeds member Mick Harvey. Seven years later, Cave wrote the music for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, assisted by another bandmate, Warren Ellis.
