剧情讲述了5人分别扮演高中生，描写了她们通过恋爱内心得到成长的故事。儿子穆晓松的专业是学时装设计，两父子却因为晓松母亲当年的去世有严重隔阂，互相不能理解。穆星云和邻居劳芯敏相知多年，穆晓松也结识了模特葛焉焉。经过下岗、失业、误解等风风雨雨，穆晓松终于理解了父亲，也找到灵感设计出以父亲的裁缝店“佳人有约”为名的系列服装。历经了情感的风雨，穆晓松变的成熟起来。。If not for C.C. walking in on them, Maxwell and Fran would have done it in the hospital bed next to Niles.
