马本诚离开爱妻杜霞，非法越界到香港，在香港新界发现工头克扣民工工钱，痛打工头而被判入狱八年。妻子来信提出离婚。七年后，马被释放后遣返大陆。霞说他们的孩子一岁时已死，再婚后霞生了儿子子健。马带走了子健的表哥小征为人质，要查出儿子的真实下落。他带着小征四处流浪，一大一小成了好朋友。最后，马得知真相：小征正是他的亲生儿子。他决定对孩子隐瞒真相，要干出个人样儿来见孩子。临别时，他看着孩子，忍不住热泪盈眶。。讲述了劫机者DB Cooper的故事，他仍然是PNW最大的谜团之一。。An inept gang of bank robbers, led by George The Brain, are caught and sentenced to 15 years hard labour each.
