A woman gets an opportunity to save the life of a 12-year old boy who witnessed a death during a thunderstorm which happened 25 years ago, by getting connected through the television set during a similar storm in the present。该片讲述了以夏天天为首的几个城市少年，在野外夏令营训练中结成小队，为了赢得比赛耍小聪明，却意外迷失方向。寻找出路的途中，遇到偷猎者，少年们救下小动物的同时，却遭遇偷猎着的追捕，几番磨难，才在护林员女儿樱桃、当地村民及警方等多方帮助下成功获救。
